Day 1: Arrival for the 4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tour in Kigali
On this first day of this 4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tour safaris adventure, a representative / tours and travel guide from Silverback gorilla tours will meet you at Kigali International airport or any airport within Kigali City, take you for good lunch, carry out a brief city tour and later on transfer you to the majestic Volcanoes national park In Musanze, northern province of Rwanda. Overnight at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge / Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge. Meals: Lunch and Dinner.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking Rwanda
This second day of your 4 Days Rwanda Gorilla tour, you have your very first gorilla trekking encounter. You will wake up to an early morning breakfast meal and after head to the park headquarters for a short briefing session before then make your way to the mountains after to search for the endangered mountain gorillas. Gorillas live in families and move in troops hence, you will have a chance to see so many gorillas on your encounter.
When you finally locate the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend an hour around them then return to your starting point after to pick up your gorilla trekking certificates. Your tour guide will then transfer you to your accommodation facility to relax as you get in shape for your second gorilla encounter the following day. Day 3: Second Gorilla Trek
On this third day of your 4 days gorilla trekking tour, you get to enjoy your second gorilla trekking encounter on another part of the part to visit a different mountain gorilla family. You will go through the exact schedule as the previous day only that you get to meet a different family. If your previous day trek was simple, challenge your self by asking the park rangers to assign you a gorilla group that is hard to trek or vice versa.
Much as the gorilla family allocation process is random, a few factors like age, physical health and many more are considered in the gorilla family assignment process only if you make your request early enough. After this trek, you will return to your lodge to relax. There are a few optional activities you can do at the park. All you have to do is request your tour guide to make arrangements for you. Day 4: Kigali and Departure after the 4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tour
On this last day of your 4 days Rwanda gorilla trekking safari, you will depart your lodge and head to Kigali International Airport. Depending on the time you are departing Rwanda, your tour guide will drive you around Kigali for a tour where you will visit places like the Kigali genocide memorial monument, Caplaki crafts village, Kimironko market and a few other places before you drive to the airport to catch up with your departure flight or get dropped at any hotel of your choice with Kigali, Rwanda to mark the end of your 4 Days Rwanda Gorilla Tour.
